BUILDING BRIDGES FOR PEACE AND FACE TO FACE/FAITH TO FAITH TAKE PART IN FIRST DENVER SERVICE DAY
On Saturday, January 14 the Denver participants and LITs of Building Bridges for Peace and Face to Face/Faith to Faith participated in the first Denver Service Day. In honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we visited Urban Peak, a regional organization for the support of homeless and transitioning youth. After learning about the valuable resources at Urban Peak, we helped to clean and organize the kitchen pantry.
Afterwards, we enjoyed each other's company for lunch at Jerusalem Restaurant. It was fantastic to see each other again, hear what's happening at school and with the follow up's Individual Projects, reflect on the recent BBfP retreat, and look forward to the Face to Face/Faith to Faith retreat coming up at the end of January. Watch for more updates in early February!
