Additionally, Walter and his wife Christie are the co-founders of Concerts for Kids, a Denver non-profit that raises funds for children’s healthcare and education through entertainment.

Jessica, who is from Denver, and Kennedy, who is from Kibera, are co-founders of Shining Hope for Communities, a non-profit based in Kibera, Kenya, working to educate girls and bring positive change to Africa’s largest slum. Founded in 2009, Shining Hope for Communities combats inter-generational cycles of poverty and gender inequality by linking tuition-free schools for girls to essential social services for all.

Former Building Bridges Peace participant, staff member, and current administrator for Cherry Creek School District, who is working as a leader to close the achievement gap for students of color.
